On PC, there's City Game Studio though it's in early access, but similar type of game with a bit of a city area for buying locations and studios. There's also Game Dev Studio though I haven't played it. I recently got Game Dev Studio after it was recommended by someone in a different thread - it's certainly better than Game Dev Tycoon.
Using your new engine, create a brand new, non-sequel game. Ideally use a brand new category with a ‘good’ topic/genre combination, ideally with a genre your team is familiar with, and good at making. 5) Sliders must match Genre as close as possible. 6) Staff must match the Genre you choose. If you want to make a perfect RPG, Design will be more important than Technology. So it's better to have more staff with high stats in Design. Your staff is always working on the game even if you don't put them in charge.
